Playmates: Beach of Dreams

EVERY GUY'S DREAM came true: hanging out with four Playboy Playmates.

OK, we only watched them play beach volleyball and sign autographs, but that's a lot closer than just reading the magazine!

It was all Playmates on the beach in Hampton Bays on Aug. 26, 2000. Hitting the sand were Nicole Wood, Alesha Marie Oreskovich, Kristi Cline and Jessica Lee.

The event raised money for the Hampton Bays Volunteer Ambulance Corps and was sponsored by Playboy.com. It wouldn't be a proper promotion if there weren't any T-shirts or frisbees tossed to the crowd. That drove the crowd crazy.

The Playmates took on some challengers into beach Twister, with very funny results. This was held at the Neptune Beach Club in Hampton Bays.

Kristi Cline, Playboy's Miss September 1999, was one of the X-Treme Team Playmates on hand. The Texas native was extremely personable to us. She was one of the best players on the X-Treme Team volleyball squad, and got out there with a lot of energy.

Jessica Lee also was part of the X-Treme Team. In addition to being Miss August 1996 she's also been in the Playboy Special Editions many times Jessica and the other Playmates played several matches during the day against local teams.

Nicole Wood, Playboy's Miss April 1993, was another one. We had met her at EXIT the previous night; following a movie screening Playboy.com co-hosted. She is one of the most popular Playboy Playmates of the last ten years. Nicole was in town to promote the 2000 Summer Shorts Film Festival, which Playboy.com was helping sponsor. After the movies, Nicole joined 600 guests to party at EXIT, a new club in town. Her official web site is Nicolewood.net.

Playboy.com sent Alesha Marie Oreskovich, Playboy's Miss June 1993, with the X-Treme Team Playmates to the volleyball challenge. She's been in the Playboy Special Editions more than 30 times and is one of the most popular Playmates.

Jessica Lee, Playboy's Miss August 1996, has been on loads of TV series and in the Playboy Special Editions. Her official fan web site is Jessicalee.org.
