Everyone who was ever a fan and customer of Tamela Stevens, she will be back in town. Tam worked all over the place: Hi-Life, Jake's Dilemma, MacAleer's... until she split town. She moved to the Caribbean, St. Martin, and was consulting on a new bar/restaurant there. She is now opening a French cafe on the Dutch side of the island in October!
Tam is back in New York chilling out, and will be down at Arlene Grocery on Saturday, Sept. 7, at 7 pm. Her friend's band 4:20 (I don't know what it means, maybe it's Dutch) is playing there, the guys in the band are all from St. Martin. This is a great place to see a live music show -- and catch up with such a terrific NYC bartender. She was here for 12 years, lets say hello to her.

One of the things that's great about New York (you can tell people about this) is how cool everyone is to you. Like this nycbp.com regular named Bill, he sent in the news this week that the new bartender at ![[nycbp.com home page]](http://www.nycbp.com/images/new2.gif)
