This web site that mixes bikini girls, humor, sports, politics, religion and midgets has an interview about NYCBP.COM this week. Paulkatcher.com, headed up by Paul Katcher, a former co-worker of mine from FOX Sports Online, runs this thing. The interview (click here) is your basic Kevin kissing ass to get the web site out there.

This is a funny site that I go to every week for whatever weird links PK can dig up. Check it out and visit, you never know what you'll find!

If there was going to be "Doc Holliday's: The Movie" then I want Brad Pitt to play Warren. Like in Snatch? Brad always looks good in a hat. And Warren always wears a hat. In all the times I've been hanging out there, I've never, ever, seen his hair.

Playing the part of Joanna, who can't be in the movie because she works 3 nights a week at the bar, will be Ashley Judd. She got the part after Cameron Diaz turned it down, because Cammie didn't want to go brunette for a grueling 6-month shoot on Avenue A.

Why are they making a movie about Doc's? Because Joanna and Warren's Combo-Birthday Party is Friday Night, May 3 at 8 p.m.

Jo says, "Of course, I can't miss this event...I can't wait to celebrate my 25th birthday...Present ideas??? I new set of internal organs would be nice, but I'll settle for something less extravagant."

It's going to be a barn-burner, of course!

Who remembers the crazy Bar Show from last year? Well it's back again. We just got the invite today. If you missed it last year, it was an all-day drinking experience. It was for professionals only, no amateurs allowed. Basically what happens is every liquor distributor, along with beverage industry types, rolls out the red carpet. They hire models and strippers to hand out free samples to all. It's such a bargain price too.

That maniac Mark from Who's On First was telling me about their Booze Cruise, which is May 4, a Saturday.

Oh my God, if that boat sails, the entire New York Harbor better watch out. He's planning on taking the whole bar, like 200 people or something, and floating them around the Island of Manhattan for FOUR hours. That's right, four hours, trapped on a boat, with Mark and his maniac bartenders.

He scribbled some notes to me on the back of a bar tab... "Cuerto De Mayo... 4 pm to 8 pm ... premium open bar ... hot buffet ... DJs ... plus open bar back at Who's 9-10 pm ... $55 advance/$60 day of sailing .... "

You have to call Mark at 212-410-2780 or visit their web site for details.

I'm going, if I can find a life jacket first.

In today's New York Post, the "Bar Belles" -- writers Libby and Megan -- picked the topic of dive bars. Guess what? Of the 3,500 bars in Manhattan, half of their list is made of entries from OUR web site. Looks like the girls did all their research on nycbp.com.

I read this cheesball column every Saturday. On this wasteland of a day for newspapers, it's buried in the food section. The Bar Belles are always writing "best of" lists -- its all they can come up with. Usually their great ideas for topics are the "best martini" or "best margarita".... I'm waiting for "Best Place to Pick Up a Stewardess" or "Best Bar for Horny Nannies" -- but that'll never get written.

Anyway, these girls are probably already getting ready to write about the "best bars in the Hamptons" -- so until their summer shares open up, they are at the Dive Bars. They name Red Rock West the best -- which is something we did way back in 1999. The other bars on their list that match OUR list (thanks, Libby and Megan) are the Village Idiot, Jimmy's Corner and of course, Bellevue Bar.

The others on the list are Sophie's, 7B, Rudy's and Siberia.

Thanks to the New York Post for not giving nycbp.com a plug again. Look for The Bar Belles at a bar near you.
