The "bar tour" of the Upper East Side yesterday was a drunken mess. I only made it to 2 of the 10 bars. Go figure, but we just couldn't leave Who's.

You can try it again on Saturday, May 18, in the East Village. They say its to benefit The American Cancer Society. $10 admission includes $3 pints of Heineken & Amstel and other specials from 3-10 p.m. at these participating bars: Doc Holliday's, 11th Street Bar, J.P. Warde's, The Library, Mona's, Musical Box, Nice Guy Eddie's and Route 85A.

It has a World Cup theme (the soccer madness begins at the end of the month), and each bar is going to be a different country. (I know The Library is Scotland due to Nick, Eddie's is Mexico because they have great margarita's and Doc's will be Ireland for some strange reason). All bar crawlers get a passport for the day.

On Saturday you can register at either Doc's or Eddie's at 3 p.m. or do it online at Murphguide.com.

Should be a fun day at some awesome bars...
