The Insider's Stripper Advice

By Kevin

1. Don't just hire a stripper from a website, newspaper or phone book, ask around for references. Don't pick an agency because they advertise in phone booths or on web sites. The best agency is one that a friend or acquaintance has actually seen in action. The worst are the ones with 800 numbers, coast-to-coast service and sleazy web sites.

2. A good rule of thumb is for every six guys, get one stripper. So if your party has 20 guys, don't just hire one or two girls, get three. But four is better!

3. Find out from the bachelor what he wants. If he likes black chicks, take care of it. Make sure the agency can suit your needs. If the agency says "we don't have any Asians" and your boy really wants one, find another agency, don't let the agency talk you into something else.

4. Most private party services will want a deposit in advance per performer. Use a credit card if possible so you have a record. The night of the party, pay the rest to them in cash.

5. Ask for a written service agreement, that specifies how much the performers are to be paid, and what they are agreeing to. Specify arrival time. Specify the names of the performers, with substitution preferences.

6. Remember that all bachelor party performers operate on "Stripper Time" which is a weird flux in the space-time continuum. Stripper Time slows down to a weird crawl. This will make them 45 to 90 minutes late for their show; however, once arrived at the party, their time speeds back up much faster than Earth time. So their 60-minute show will really last 45. My advice: watch the clock, and call them on it.

7. SEX: You can ask for sexual favors, but be extremely discreet. Don't come out and ask the performer in the middle of the room, draw her aside and ask about "extras".

8. Tip the performers well. Each guy should keep the money flowing, it helps the party.

9. They'll probably want cab fare, don't balk at it and tell 'em to ride the subway.

10. Treat the strippers with respect and they'll do a better party; a pissed-off stripper is the worst. And if they don't want to blow you after the party, don't blame them.
